Thank you for your interest in working with Chignecto-Central Regional Centre for Education. CCRCE employs approximately 3000 permanent staff and approximately 1000 casual/substitute employees. Our staff members work in schools, bus garages and offices throughout the region to support approximately 20,000 students in pre-primary to grade 12. With 65 schools, 4 bus garages and 4 office buildings, CCRCE has exciting employment opportunities in many different classifications.

CCRCE is always hiring employees for casual/substitute work. Casuals provide short-term coverage (day-to-day) to schools when permanent staff are away. We maintain casual lists for many school-based classifications including: Administrative Assistants, Bus Drivers, Custodians, Early Childhood Educators, Educational Assistants, and Teachers.
