Mi'kmaw Education and Services supports students of Indigenous descent by proving professional development to CCRCE staff, engaging in curriculum/resource development to promote the inclusion of Mi'kmaq content and perspectives in all classrooms.
At CCRCE, it is important to create opportunities both for students and staff to learn about the Mi'kmaq, their Treaty rights, and our shared history. By learning about the Mi'kmaq people's culture, traditions, ways of being, and building a deeper understanding of the Peace and Friendship Treaties, we are working to be inclusive and equitable across the region.
