Our student well-being and success is important to us at Chignecto Central Regional Centre for Education.
Over the spring of 2019, CCRCE embarked on a new approach to improvement planning, along with every region and school board in Nova Scotia. The intent of our planning effort is to support further alignment and coherence provincially while developing more focused and practical plans that will directly support school improvement and daily work in our schools.
As part of our planning, our administrators, regional staff, teachers and School Advisory Councils participated in consultations to ensure multiple voices were included in the planning approach.
Our System Improvement Plan is focused on three key areas for our students: well-being, literacy, and mathematics. You will notice the addition of an explicit well-being goal. By putting well-being at the forefront of our work, we can ensure each student feels supported, a sense of belonging, and ready to learn in our schools each day.
