Education Week Awards is a provincial opportunity for the education community to acknowledge educators, support staff and administrators for their outstanding work relative to the Education Week theme (2025 Theme: Empowering Futures: Innovation in Education).
Award Categories of Awards
- One Teacher /Specialist award from each NSTU Local
- One award for a PSAANS Member
- One award for a non-teaching school/student support staff member (may or may not be an NSTU member)
- One award for an Early Childhood Educator (ECE)
- One Mi’kmaq/Indigenous Educator/Student Support Award (applicable to all student support school professionals)
- One African Nova Scotian/African Ancestry Educator/Student Support Award (applicable to all student support school professionals)
