CCRCE Regional Executive Director of Education, Gary Adams, is the educational leader of the Chignecto-Central region. He is the liaison between the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and schools, region and communities. and is accountable to the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development for the educational performance of students. He is responsible for ensuring all schools and regional offices are operated efficiently, and for ensuring the supervision of all regional employees.
The Career Exploration Program (CEP) at Hants East Rural High School is a three year program (Grades 10, 11 and 12) that offers students an opportunity to learn valuable workplace skills and experience while earning their Nova Scotia High School Graduation Diploma.
Chignecto Central Regional Centre for Education employs approximately 2700 individuals across a wide geographical range covering East Hants, Colchester, Pictou and Cumberland Counties. Our employees work in 66 schools and offices to support the diverse learning needs of our students.

In late 2011, students across CCRSB were asked to nominate their favourite book for the first TRCA Top 10 list. In total, CCRSB Library Services staff collected about 2,500 nominations and almost 1,000 different titles were submitted for consideration. Chignecto Central Regional Centre for Education is seeking applications for the position of student monitor at various locations across CCRCE region.
The position is responsible for supervising students during the noon hour. Hours of work vary based on the school's lunch break.
Salary: $14.39 per hour
